We employ a multifaceted research approach combining quantitative and qualitative methods to understand the relationship between climate change and human mobility. Qualitative methods – KIIs and FGDs – were employed to complement the quantitative findings.

Combining desk research with field-based interviews, focus groups, and community mapping, our research has reached more than 10 million people across areas of potential impact, informing national adaptation plans, IOM's Global MECC Strategy, and Jordan's Climate–Refugee Nexus Initiative launched at COP27. We center the voices most affected by climate displacement. The result is not just data, but tiered, actionable frameworks — sequencing water governance, livelihood diversification, and gender-responsive service delivery into recommendations donors and policymakers can fund and implement today.
